Welcome to Peppermint Pig Animal Rescue and Gift & Thrift Store. Established in 2006, Peppermint Pig Thrift and Gift operates to support Peppermint Pig Animal Rescue, a 100% foster-based and volunteer-operated 501 (c)(3) no-kill animal rescue located in Cincinnati, Ohio.

All donations go directly to the rescue, rehabilitation and care of needy animals in our local community. We rescue the majority of our adoptable pets from open intake shelters, high kill shelters, and by working closely with other rescues and shelters to rescue and transport from rural areas with high euthanasia rates. Some of our rescues are owner surrenders / surrendered to a vet for medical/financial reasons or found as strays and not claimed. We are primarily a dog & cat rescue, although we do try to help other companion animals (such as birds, reptiles, guinea pigs & other small animals), when we can.
